Dave Buchen and Clare Dolan are happy to announce Banners and Cranks 2011, a
festival of cantastoria and cranky performance this June in New York City! There
will be a special outdoor kickoff show (produced by Great Small Works) in the
Brooklyn Bridge Park Sunday June 19th from 4-8pm and then the fest at HERE,
(145 6th ave, nyc ) June 22-26th, with Wed-Sunday shows at 7pm, plus a late
night show Friday at 11pm, and a matinee Sunday at 2pm. We hope you will help us
spread the news far and wide, come and see the shows, and, of course, we want
you to know how you can help support this fabulous confluence of some of north
america's finest cranky and cantastoria artists! We are selling a set of deluxe
posters, featuring woodcuts by Dave and Clare, hand printed on Dave's trusty
Vandercook Press in San Juan. $50 gets you the set of four posters, and all of
the money goes directly to the many worthy artist who will be performing at the
